Used Microsoft Access 2007, DAO and VBA to build a Parts Catalog Database for a marine sales and service business. This project required analyzing the client’s business needs and providing a simple to use human interface. Import and export of video screen data.

Used Microsoft Access 2003, DAO and VBA to modify and enhance a third party’s custom/commercial Room Reservation and Property Management application. This project required analyzing the client’s business needs and incorporating the changes into an existing database design or extending the original design to meet the client’s needs.

Used Microsoft Access 2003, DAO and VBA to build a Client database that was used to merge with a Microsoft Word document set. This database featured user-level security and custom scripting to enforce secure access to data. Also, modified the Word document set to include the merged fields.

Used Microsoft Access 2003, DAO and VBA to build a Paper Forms Tracking and Management application.

Used Microsoft Access 2003, DAO and VBA to build a Sales Leads application. Used advanced VBA scripting, dynamic record source objects and advanced SQL statements. Exports Customer contact information to QuickBooks.

Used Microsoft Access 2003, DAO and VBA to build an eBay Auction Management application. Used advanced VBA scripting, dynamic record source objects and advanced SQL statements. Built an eBay and PayPal file import feature to apply sales and fees data. I also built a similar version of this database, with additional features, for another client in the same business.

Used Microsoft Access 2003, DAO and VBA to build a Church Mass Intentions Scheduling application.

Used Microsoft Access 2003 and VBA to modify tables, forms and reports for an Issues Tracking application.

Senior Information Systems Analyst

Used POWERBUILDER, UNIX and Sybase SQL Server to build a new District Attorney case management system. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design and programming tasks within a highly complex multi-departmental project. I also performed a database conversion during this project. Used Crystal Reports for ad-hoc reporting and assisted end users with the use of this tool.

Used POWERBUILDER, UNIX and Sybase SQL Server to convert District Attorney’s legacy Honeywell application. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design and programming tasks for this Y2K project.

Used HP ALLBASE/4GL IDE, HP MPE and HP ALLBASE/SQL DBMS to upgrade the Mental Health Department’s clinical and billing application for Y2K. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design and programming tasks for this project.

Used HP ALLBASE/4GL IDE, HP MPE and HP ALLBASE/SQL DBMS to add a managed care authorization and claims processing module to the Mental Health Department’s clinical and billing system. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design and programming tasks.

Used Cognos IMPROMPTU, ODBC and SQL database to provide production and ad-hoc reports and queries to management and staff off of the Mental Health Department’s clinical and billing database. Performed product selection, installation, planning, catalog administration, report programming, and end user training tasks.

Used HP ALLBASE/4GL IDE, HP MPE and HP ALLBASE/SQL DBMS to build a new Mental Health Department clinical and billing system, for which I received a commendation from the Board of Supervisors. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design and programming tasks for this project. I also performed a database conversion during this project.

Implemented an Apple-based wide area network for the Mental Health Department.

Used HP tools, HP TurboImage database and HP MPE to maintain and enhance Mental Health Department’s clinical and billing system. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design and programming tasks.

Used Cognos tools QUIZ, QTP, QDD to provide production and ad-hoc reporting capabilities against the Mental Health Department’s HP TurboImage database. Performed project management, requirements, analysis, design, end user support, end user training and programming tasks.
